Queen Anne was, in all likelihood, interested in women and the film centers on a lesbian love. With your jaw dropped, you whip out your phone and start frantically Googling to find out what actually happened. Lady Sarah (Rachel Weisz) and her cousin Abigail Masham (Emma Stone) both vie to be Anne's favorite. Rom-coms are great and all, but there's no better (slash more intense) feeling than getting to the end of a totally wild movie and seeing the words “based on a true story” pop up on your screen.
